- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1½ teaspoons ground ginger
- ½ – ¾ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large deep-sided skillet over medium heat, cook 1½ pounds of ground beef until no longer pink, keeping larger pieces intact.
- Drain excess grease and add 1 diced onion and 1 tablespoon minced garlic; cook until onions are soft.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons sesame oil, ½ cup shredded carrots, and 16 ounces coleslaw mix; sauté for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1½ teaspoons ground ginger, and ½ – ¾ cup low sodium soy sauce. Pour over the mixture in the skillet.
- Reduce heat and simmer for another 5 minutes until everything is heated through.
