  • 2 shallots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 lb Brussels sprouts
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sharp white cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Gruyere cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced shallots and garlic; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add halved Brussels sprouts, cooking until tender (about 10 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and mustard powder.
