Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 lb Napa cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, green onion, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and an egg. Set aside to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  2. Slice Napa cabbage into thin strips and sprinkle with salt; let sit for 30 minutes before squeezing out excess water.
  3. Combine the cabbage with the marinated beef mixture.
  4. For the dough, mix flour and water until a soft dough forms; knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Roll the dough into logs and cut into half-inch pieces. Flatten each piece to form wrappers.
  6. Fill each wrapper with a tablespoon of filling, fold over, and pinch to seal tightly.
  7. Cook in a hot non-stick frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown on the bottom; add water to steam as needed.
