  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 23 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 500 grams lean beef mince/ground beef
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Mix the spice blend and set aside.
  3. Cut potatoes into chip shapes and toss with olive oil and half the spice mix.
  4. Bake potato chips for 30-40 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. In a frying pan, cook beef mince until browned; add remaining spice mix.
  6. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  7. Assemble bowls with baked chips, lettuce, beef mince, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce.
