Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound chicken or turkey sausage
  • 12 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 8 ounces Colby Jack cheese slices
  • Unsalted butter
  • Garlic salt
  • Ground mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until fully browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in a large skillet with melted butter until fluffy.
  4. Assemble sliders: layer the bottom halves of the rolls in the baking dish, followed by cooked eggs, sausage, cheese slices, and top halves.
  5. Brush melted butter mixed with garlic salt and mustard on top. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; uncover and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
