- 1 lb sour cream
- 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- 2 oz taco seasoning
- 2 cups pico de gallo or salsa
- 12–16 oz guacamole
- 1–2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 2 oz sliced olives (canned)
Instructions
- In a bowl, blend the refried beans with 1 oz of taco seasoning until smooth. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and remaining taco seasoning until creamy.
- In a deep dish or glass trifle bowl, layer the ingredients as follows: refried beans, sour cream mixture, guacamole, pico de gallo or salsa, shredded cheese, and sliced olives.
- Optionally garnish with green onions or cilantro.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
