Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel, core, and slice apples; toss with lemon juice, sugar, and spices.
- For the crust, mix flour and salt, cut in cold butter until crumbly, then add ice water to form dough. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the toffee sauce by melting butter and stirring in brown sugar and heavy cream; thicken with cornstarch.
