Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 (9-inch) store-bought pumpkin pie (premade/storebought)
  • 12 ounces unsalted butter (softened, 3 sticks)
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 34 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (cold)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. For the cinnamon cheesecake layer, blend softened cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, heavy whipping cream, and eggs until smooth. Pour into an 8-inch round pan and bake for about 45 minutes until set. Let cool completely.
  3. For the spiced cake layer, combine flour, baking powder, ground spices in one bowl. In another bowl, beat softened butter with brown sugar and oil until fluffy. Mix in eggs and milk gradually before adding dry ingredients. Pour into a greased 9-inch round pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once cooled, assemble by layering the spiced cake as the base, followed by the store-bought pumpkin pie, and topping it with the cinnamon cheesecake layer.
  5. For frosting, beat softened butter with powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy; add cold heavy whipping cream until you reach desired consistency. Frost the top of your assembled piecaken.
