Ingredients

  • 300 g boneless white fish (cut into cubes)
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 12 tsp peri peri seasoning
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish cubes by mixing vinegar, peri peri seasoning, ginger garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Coat the fish with flour after marinating.
  2. Prepare the coating by combining panko breadcrumbs, flour, and dried parsley in one bowl and whisking together egg and milk in another.
  3. Dip each fish piece in the egg mixture first, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Optionally freeze nuggets at this stage.
  4. Cook using your preferred method: deep fry until golden brown; air fry at 180°C (356°F) for 10–15 minutes; or bake at 200°C (392°F) for 15–18 minutes.
