  • 1 ½ cups gruyere cheese (thinly shredded)
  • ⅔ cup parmesan cheese (thinly shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (finely chopped)
  • 1 to 1 ¼ teaspoons coarse sea salt
  • 24 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 ½ pounds Yukon Gold potatoes (thinly sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease muffin tins if desired.
  2. In a bowl, mix gruyere, parmesan, thyme, salt, and garlic until well combined.
  3. Coat the sliced potatoes in melted butter using your hands.
  4. Layer four potato slices in each muffin cup followed by half a teaspoon of the cheese mixture. Repeat for three to four layers, finishing with cheese on top.
