  • 2 pounds boneless beef chops, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Season beef pieces with onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear beef for about 13-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Remove beef and tent with foil for warmth.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for one minute.
  5. Whisk in flour; then gradually add chicken broth and cream. Stir in parmesan cheese and lemon juice until thickened.
  6. Return seared beef to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce.
