  • 68 skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 jar whole pepperoncini peppers with juice
  • 2 packages Hawaiian dinner rolls, sliced in half horizontally
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup spicy mustard
  • 24 slices Gouda cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter for brushing
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning for topping
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley for topping

Instructions

  1. Place skinless chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle dry ranch seasoning and red chili flakes; add whole pepperoncini peppers with juice.
  3. Add butter evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. Shred cooked chicken using two forks.
  6. Spread mayonnaise and spicy mustard on Hawaiian rolls; layer shredded chicken and Gouda cheese.
  7. Top with the other half of each roll, brushing tops with melted butter mixed with remaining ranch seasoning.
  8. Serve warm from the slow cooker.
