- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Flour (for dredging)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise to create cutlets, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and dredge lightly in flour.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the coated chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan off the heat, add remaining butter, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and honey. Return to medium heat and stir until combined.
