- 600 g Apples (peeled and chopped)
- 100 g Biscoff spread
- 175 g Plain flour
- 100 g Light brown sugar
- 115 g Butter
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 60 g Light brown soft sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Mixed spice
- 1 tsp Cornflour (cornstarch)
- 45 g Biscoff biscuits (crushed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C Fan/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
- Prepare the crumble topping by mixing plain flour and light brown sugar in a bowl. Rub in butter until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in crushed Biscoff biscuits.
- In another bowl, toss chopped apples with lemon juice to prevent browning. Add remaining sugars, cornflour, cinnamon, and mixed spice; mix well.
- Layer apple mixture in a baking dish and dot with Biscoff spread. Top with crumble mixture.
- Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
