Description

Baked Apple Fritters with Glaze are a warm, flavorful treat that perfectly balance indulgence with health. These delightful oven-baked goodies feature tender apple pieces nestled in a cinnamon-spiced batter, topped with a smooth lemon glaze. Ideal for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack, these fritters provide a lighter alternative to traditional fried versions without compromising on taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium firm apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  2. Peel, core, and dice the apples; toss them with cinnamon and sugar.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in milk and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; fold in diced apples.
