Ingredients
Scale
- 5 medium Apples (peeled, cored, and chopped into ¼ inch cubes)
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
- 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 8 6-inch Flour Tortillas
- Non-stick Cooking Spray
Instructions
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, combine chopped apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Cook for about 10 minutes until the apples soften.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with an equal amount of water to create a slurry. Pour this slurry into the skillet with the apple mixture. Stir continuously until it thickens, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray both sides of each flour tortilla with non-stick cooking spray. In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. Sprinkle this mixture over both sides of each tortilla. Cut tortillas into wedges and arrange them on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for about 10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve your warm Apple Pie Dip in a bowl alongside freshly baked cinnamon sugar chips. Enjoy!
