- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoons milk or cream
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter for the topping; set aside.
- Combine diced apples with sugars and cinnamon in another bowl; toss well.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
- Prepare cream cheese filling by beating cream cheese with sugar, flour, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
- Layer half of the batter in the pan, followed by half of the cream cheese filling and apple mixture; repeat layers finishing with batter on top. Top with crumb mixture.
- Bake for about 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool before glazing.
